Talk about raising our hopes only to dash them - Better Call Saul, the more comic sibling to the great Breaking Bad, has just started its second season, and we're still waiting for the promised crossover with its parent show.

What to Read Next

According to Aaron Paul, who was in town to talk about his new film Triple 9, we may have to wait a bit longer. Unless this is a double-bluff...

Better Call Saul follows shady lawyer Saul Goodman, aka Jimmy McGill, played by Bob Odenkirk.

It's a sort of prequel to Breaking Bad, so we should only really expect Paul's Jesse Pinkman and Bryan Cranston's Walter White to appear towards the end of its run - but there were suggestions that they could guest in some capacity early on, so we'll have to keep watching.

Paul next appears in Triple 9, a new thriller directed by The Road's John Hillcoat and co-starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Anthony Mackie, Kate Winslet, Casey Affleck and The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus.

It hits cinemas today, February 19 - and you can see the cast discuss their favourite movie bank robberies here.
