Tyra Banks has landed a role in ABC's Black-ish.
The model and television presenter will guest-star in the comedy's second season as a version of herself, reports TV Line.
Black-ish creator Kenya Barris explained that Banks will appear as Dre's best friend in a storyline revolving around his real-life friendship with the star.
He said: "I give my wife a lot of credit; I grew up with [Banks], but my wife came into a situation where my best friend from four years old is a supermodel. She's a very good sport."
Black-ish, which is loosely based on the life of Barris, stars Anthony Anderson as Dre, as well as Tracee Ellis Ross, Yara Shahidi and Marcus Scribner.
Banks is scheduled to appear mid-way through the show's second season, which will premiere on September 23 on ABC.
