Arrow is about to shake things up for Oliver and Felicity, by introducing a new love interest.
Elysia Rotaru will play a woman from Oliver's (Stephen Amell) past, but that is currently all we know about the mysterious character, who will make her debut in season four.
Rotaru is no stranger to The CW family, having appeared in Smallville, Supernatural, Hellcats and iZombie in recent years.
Arrow's executive producer Marc Guggenheim wouldn't give away too many details about her character, but told Entertainment Weekly that her character's relationship with Oliver "will serve as a parallel or potentially a contrast to his love affair with Felicity in the present".
Arrow is stocking up on high-profile guest stars ahead of its season four launch.
Earlier this week, True Blood's Rutina Wesley was confirmed for a recurring role, and Parker Young was recently cast as a new love interest for Thea (Willa Holland).
What to Read Next
It was announced earlier in the summer that Oliver will face off with villains Double Down (JR Bourne), Anarky (Alexander Calvert) and Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), while Shadowspire agents Reiter (Jimmy Akingbola) and Conklin (Ryan Robbins) will be seen in flashbacks.
Arrow returns on October 7 on The CW in the US.
