Empire has taken home the top award of Programme of the Year during last night's TCA Awards.
James Corden hosted this year's ceremony, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 8.
Fox's music drama series received four nominations at this year's event, and beat off tough competition from the likes of Game of Thrones, Transparent and FX's The Americans to be named the winner.
Critics' Choice Television Award winner The Americans, meanwhile, was awarded the prize for Outstanding Achievement to Drama, and Better Call Saul was named Outstanding New Programme.
Elsewhere, Jon Hamm received the award for Individual Achievement in Drama for his work on Mad Men, and Amy Schumer won the Award for Individual Achievement in Comedy.
The actress's Comedy Central series Inside Amy Schumer also took home the title of Outstanding Achievement in Comedy.
