Another new cast member for The CW's Arrow and Flash spinoff has been revealed.

Franz Drameh - best known for starring in sci-fi movies Attack the Block and Edge of Tomorrow - will be a part of the Magnificent Seven-like DC Comics series as Jay Jackson.

Jay Jackson is an auto-mechanic who becomes involved with Flash's STAR Labs team when an injury ends his career as a pro athlete.

The CW's spinoff brings together fan favourites from Arrow and Flash, as well as new characters, to become a superhero team.

Brandon Routh is on board as The Atom, along with Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell as Rogues duo Captain Cold and Heat Wave, while Victor Garber is back as Martin Stein and Caity Lotz will have an undisclosed role.

Newcomers to the DC television universe will be Doctor Who's Arthur Darvill as the time traveller Rip Hunter and Ciara Renée as Hawkgirl.
