Lance Henriksen is joining the cast of NBC's The Blacklist.

Henriksen will first appear in this Thursday's (March 5) episode 'T Earl King' as a character known as McCready.

McCready has been described as a power-broker for the criminal underworld, whose activities catch the attention of FBI agent Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone) and her informant Red Reddington (James Spader).

Henriksen is a veteran of the Alien franchise, and also starred in the films Dog Day Afternoon, The Terminator and Cyrus.

He also earned three Golden Globe nominations for playing psychic investigator Frank Black in the cult television series Millennium, a role he would later reprise in The X-Files.


More recently, his television credits include NCIS, Castle, Hannibal and The Strain.

The Blacklist airs on Thursdays at 9pm ET on NBC in the US. Sky Living screens the series in the UK.
