"Those kinds of losses and trauma are very hard to explain unless you’ve been through them. I really relate to all the women who have been through those kinds of things in a way that I didn’t understand fully before. It’s very, very painful."

Reflecting on becoming pregnant again, she added: "It was actually quite hard to process. You have a lot of complicated feelings."

Daddario played the role of Rachel Patton in the first season of HBO's The White Lotus, and has recently appeared in Mayfair Witches and Koala Man.

Over the years, she has also starred in True Detective, Law & Order, American Horror Story, Baywatch and the Percy Jackson movies.

Organisations including Sands and Tommy's are able to offer help and support to anyone affected by baby loss.
