LEGO is releasing a classic Batmobile toy from the Batman '66 series.

The toy giant has an established track record for making brick versions of the most iconic versions of the Batmobile — from Batman The Animated Series' art deco version to Christopher Nolan's Tumbler to The Batman's throwback redesign.

The '60s Batman TV series didn't technically introduce the Batmobile into live-action (that honour goes to a 1940s serial) but its iteration of the car remains as campy and iconic as the show itself.

LEGO has incorporated all the kitsch and 1960s flare into its toy version of Batman's speedster, including having Bat Computer built into the car boot.

With rotatable wheels and a molded windscreen, this Batmobile is ready to chase down Louie the Lilac, Lola Lasagne, The Bookworm, or any other quirky villain attacking Gotham City.

This set comes with a Batman minifigure in the same iconic costume that Adam West wore in the TV series, along with one of The Caped Crusader's signature Batarangs.

The Batman '66 Batmobile is safe for play when fully constructed, or it can be displayed with a plaque describing all of the technical wizardry of the vehicle.
