Charlotte Ross will be reprising her role in Arrow as Felicity Smoak's (Emily Bett Rickards) mother.
The Glee actress made her first appearance as the vapid Donna Smoak earlier this season in an episode exploring Felicity's background.
Donna Smoak will return to Starling City for Arrow's 18th episode, with storyline details unknown, according to TV Line.
Ross is a veteran of NYPD Blue, and has also previously appeared in Glee as Quinn Fabray's mother Judy.
Arrow was renewed along with several other CW programmes at the TCA press tour on Monday (January 12).
An animated spinoff called Vixen will debut on digital hub CW Seed later in 2015.
