Twisters and Top Gun: Maverick actor Glen Powell is looking quite different as he films his new TV show.

The star is currently hard at work on Hulu comedy Chad Powers, a comedy about an American college football player who gets kicked off the team for bad behaviour. Desperate to have another shot, he puts on a disguise and joins a floundering team under the name Chad Powers.

The role sees Powell looking extra beefy and sporting a slight tan, alongside a blonde surfer dude hairstyle, a thin moustache, and a prosthetic nose that makes it hard to tell it's him at first glance.

We don't have the Disney-owned Hulu here in the UK, and while a lot of its shows, like The Bear and Abbott Elementary, end up on Disney+, other shows aren't. For example, The Handmaid's Tale is on Prime Video, and The Great is on Channel 4.

As soon as we know where Chad Powers will be airing in the UK, we'll be sure to let you know.

In a recent interview, he said he's been doing a lot of sprinting in preparation for the role, and is eager to get started, stating: "Edgar Wright has been one of my favourite filmmakers for as long as I can remember. I think since Shaun of the Dead, I was like, 'I can't wait to work with this guy'."

He's also been attached to a remake of the comedy Heaven Can Wait, originally from 1978.

Twisters is still in cinemas now, while US fans can buy or rent it digitally from various outlets.
