The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion teased an announcement yesterday evening on Twitter, sparking rumours that he may retire as a result of his ongoing injury problems.
Daniel Bryan's Road to WrestleMania XXX: 18 seconds to main eventer
During an emotional speech, Bryan spoke about his victory at WrestleMania XXX, his wedding to Brie Bella and the subsequent death of his father.
"I wasn't there for him, because I was here wrestling," Bryan told the crowd.
"And then a month after that I had a career-changing injury that requires surgery and the doctors didn't know what was wrong. They couldn't fix me.
Everyone comes to a crossroads in their life and I've come to mine. I look forward to telling you all about it tonight on #Raw.

"All I could do was sit at home on my couch and watch. And all I wanted to do was be in this ring, because being in front of you guys is the only thing that has ever taken the pain away.
"Because this is what I love. This is what I've dreamed of my entire life, is coming out here and performing in front of all of you."
He added: "And because you guys have supported me my entire career, I made a special request so I could come out here and make this announcement in front of all of you.
"Is my career over? No! That is the announcement that I came here to make! I am ready to fight! I am ready to compete!
"And will I be in the 2015 Royal Rumble? Yes! Yes! Yes!"
Bryan, who won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXX and defended it on Extreme Rules, was stripped of the title as a result of his injuries.
He returned to Raw to speak last month but it was not known if or when he would ever return to the squared circle.
The final Monday Night Raw had special guest hosts Edge and Christian and also saw the return of Bad News Barrett from injury.
Barrett returned to challenge Cesaro, who had cut a promo calling out the locker room, and won on his return with the Bullhammer Elbow.
The Usos defeated The Miz and Damien Mizdow to win back the WWE Tag Team Titles (after Naomi helped put Miz off his game).
And a bad night for Miz/Mizdow got even worse when they became the first Raw victims of The Ascension, who finally rose from NXT last night after teasing us with their '80s-tastic promos.
But Seth Rollins wasn't going to let any of the above steal 2014 from him. With Brock Lesnar in the house, he called a meeting with one thing on his mind, and he was always going to get it.
Paul Heyman had previously assured Edge and Christian that Lesnar had "no desire to break the neck or end the career of two men whose careers are already over", instead focusing on Mr John Cena.
The Traitor Seth Rollins had no such qualms. With Edge's neck literally on the line, the former Architect of the Shield demanded that John Cena reinstate The Authority.
"Just stop right there. Not another move John. You know what it is I want from you. If you don't give it to me I will break his neck.
"John, who are you today? Who are you really, John? Are you the phoney that I've been calling out for months, or are you the real deal, John?
"Bring The Authority back. Bring The Authority back or I'll break his neck. I swear to god, John, I swear to god.
"You've made my life hell since Survivor Series. I will take no shame. I will find no guilt in doing this. I will make your life filled with regret for the rest of it.
"Any kid that you ever have will not be proud of their father and this man will not be able to hold his kid in his hands ever again."
Cena had no choice.
"Thank you," Rollins roared. "But damn. You've got to know me better than that. I'm going to kill him anyway."
Seth Rollins: 'I want to headline above John Cena'
With Big Show still holding Edge down, Rollins bounced off the ropes for the Curb Stomp but was interrupted at the last by Cena, sparking a melee.
With the numerical advantage favouring Seth, it inevitably ended up being Cena who took Rollins's boot to the head.
The night ended with Rollins, Big Show, Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar and a champagne-wielding Stephanie McMahon and Triple H waving goodbye to 2014.
