Netflix has released a teaser for Squid Game season 2, with the return of Seong Gi-hun.
The streaming service giant shared a video that opens with jaunty classical music, before quickly cutting to a more ominous soundtrack.
We see plenty of players in the trailer, too – but apart from our protagonist, played by Lee Jung-jae, we don't get to see any of their faces, just their numbers.
"The real game begins," a title card reads, before reminding us that the season releases on December 26. If you find all the bright lights and festive cheer of Christmas a bit too much, this is set to be the perfect tonic.

Series creator Hwang Dong-hyuk explained: "It's been almost three years since season 1 was met with incredible response around the world and many unimaginable events took place.
"On the first day, we began shooting season 2, I remember thinking, 'Wow, I can't believe I'm back in the world of Squid Game'. It almost felt surreal. I wonder how it will feel for you to be back in Squid Game after three years as well."
Teasing what viewers can expect from the new series, Hwang added: "Seong Gi-hun, who vowed revenge at the end of season 1, returns and joins the game again.
"Will he succeed in getting his revenge? Front Man doesn't seem to be an easy opponent this time either."
Hwang concluded his message by adding that the team will "do our best" to bring Squid Game fans "yet another thrill ride" with the show's final instalment, which is due to land in 2025.
He also confirmed that the "fierce clash" between Seong Gi-hun and the Front Man's worlds will spill into that final season.
As well as two more runs of the main show, it's been confirmed that the unscripted reality series Squid Game: The Challenge will return for a second season.
Squid Game season 2 premieres on December 26, streaming on Netflix. A third and final season has been confirmed.
