The talent competition ended its latest run up a full ratings point to 3.3 (12.88m) at 9pm.
Earlier in the night, the animated Elf: Buddy's Musical Christmas notched 1.8 (4.82m) at 8pm.
MasterChef Junior improved one-tenth of a point at 8pm for Fox, garnering 1.7 (5.61m).
CBS started off its night with NCIS receiving 2.3 (17.53m) at 8pm, before NCIS: New Orleans dropped to a low of 1.9 (14.14m) at 9pm.
Person Of Interest sunk to 1.3 (8.94m) at 10pm, also a new low.
