Jennifer Aniston has shared a sweet tribute to Friends co-star Matt LeBlanc on his birthday.

The Joey Tribbiani actor turned 57 yesterday (July 25), and to mark the occasion Aniston re-shared a clip of her friend expressing his joy of doing "nothing".

"Happy birthday @mleblanc [white heart emoji]. I hope you're doing so much nothing today. LOVE YOU!" she wrote in her Instagram Stories.

In the original video, LeBlanc declares: "My absolute favourite thing in the world to do is nothing. I'm great at it! I could just be a professional nothing. That's what I could be, I could be really good at that.

"Because it's so easy. There's no rules. 'What are you gonna do today?' 'I'll tell ya – nothing.' Pretty simple."

She isn’t the only Friends star to share birthday wishes this year, with Courteney Cox posting her own tribute to Aniston back in February.

At the time, the star shared a throwback picture alongside a current snap and a clip from the series of Rachel saying: "Hey Chandler, Monica just broke my seashell lamp."

Cox then wrote: "Not sure why this is one of my favorite clips… I guess it’s because nobody else in the world could make this line sound so cute. Happy Birthday my sweet Jenny Louise. Also don’t know why I call her that…but I sure do love you."

In other news, Friends star Lisa Kudrow has revealed that she would sometimes get "irritated" by the show's live studio audience.

Friends streams on Netflix in the UK, where it also airs daily on Comedy Central. In the US, you can stream the show on Max.
