Bridgerton's Nicola Coughlan has added 'singer' to her CV, as she has released a viral remix in the vein of the Real Housewives franchise.

Coughlan announced her new career move after giving fans the press tour of dreams with Luke Newton and the rest of the Bridgerton cast.

The Derry Girls star officially released "Shoes... More Shoes", a track inspired by one of her recent interviews.

In a chat with Hits Radio UK, Coughlan and Newton were asked what their dream jobs outside of acting would be.

The Penelope Featherington star said she'd like to make a pop song exclusively for gay men à la Real Housewives, where they list luxury items like "shoes, private yachts, caviar, more shoes".

The clip went viral on social media, with content music producer Ellis Miah remixing the snippet earlier in May.

In a not-so-surprising turn of events, the internet worked its magic, and Coughlan has now released the song, which is streaming on all platforms. Proceeds will go to The Trevor Project and Not a Phase, two organisations supporting the LGBTQ+ community.

"In my making-music-almost-exclusively-for-gay-men era," Coughlan shared on Instagram last week, posting a cover for the single rocking golden jewellery and shades.

A parental advisory label can be seen in the corner, which teased that Bridgerton fans should expect the lyrics to not be suitable for all members of the ton.

The star's singing debut was met with an outpouring of support from fellow celebrities, including Wicked star Cynthia Erivo, who wrote: "I'm dead, can the bi girls get a piece of this please??"

Heartstopper's Joe Locke branded Coughlan an "icon", while it looks like the track will be on repeat on Jonathan Van Ness' playlist, as the Queer Eye star noted: "Okay, we have our playlist for tonite ready."

We do wonder what Queen Charlotte would make of this...
