And Just Like That star Cynthia Nixon has revealed the reason why show character Che Diaz will not be returning for season three.

Nixon reprises her role as Miranda Hobbes in the Sex and the City spin-off, who is romantically involved with Diaz (played by Grey's Anatomy actor Sara Ramirez), before the couple part ways at the end of season 2.

It was reported in late February, that Ramirez would not be returning for season three, which was renewed by Max in August last year.

In a new interview with Variety, Nixon explained why she felt the character wasn't appearing in the next instalment.
