The Witcher's Freya Allan was "dreading" returning as Ciri of Cintra in season 4.
While speaking to ComicBook, the actor admitted it was initially a struggle to get in the mood for work, but the energy on set quickly jolted her spirits.
"I was dreading it for a while if I'm honest, but now I'm on it and we have thank God a great director starting us off which has made it so much fun," she said. "There's so much great stuff to play. I'm actually quite happy".

One aspect to the fun will no doubt be the involvement of newcomer Liam Hemsworth, who replaces Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia for the next two seasons.
"He's lovely. Really really sweet. Really grounded person," commented Allan.

Hannibal and The Matrix favourite Laurence Fishburne will accompany Hemsworth's monster hunter in his search for Ciri as the character Regis.
The Witcher seasons 1-3 and spin-off The Witcher: Blood Origin are streaming on Netflix. Season 4 is in production.
