The search for a star continues, as the judges Simon, Amanda, Alesha and David travel the country for more singers, dancers, performing animals, and other madcap acts. Ant and Dec present, while Stephen Mulhern hosts the aftershow Britain's Got More Talent.

The golden buzzer sits in the middle of the judges' desk, ready for this week's outstanding acts. Will anyone follow in the dancing footsteps of Paddy and Nico and make it through to the live shows?

The hostage drama opened with a surgeon, Ellen (Toni Collette), being ordered to kill US President Kincaid as she operates on him. Finally in the season finale, the day of the surgery has arrived. The First Lady has realised Ellen's deception and corners her demanding the truth. Blair's squad of hired terrorists pose as secret service agents, and establish their final plans.

Meanwhile, Duncan and Archer discover Sandrine and Logan's plan to kill them and Kramer, so they devise their own plot in retaliation.

Channel 5 continues its recent trend for 'countdown' clip shows with an "exploration of the country's favourite crime-solvers" voted for by the British public in an online poll. The show examines TV detectives through the decades, and asks why they are such a perennial favourite, from the classic Poirot and Marple, to cultural phenomenon and global superstar Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes.

Other clips show the detective debuts of Pierce Brosnan (Remington Steele) and Bruce Willis (Moonlighting), and there are interviews with famous telly sleuths Alan Davies, Felicity Kendal, Lynda La Plante, Phil Davis, Una Stubbs and many more.

The espionage drama continues, and the Soviet spies finally find their man. Laric, whom they suspect killed Emmett and Leanne, may not be responsible, however. Elizabeth also works with Nicaraguan spy Lucia, and teaches her the tricks of the trade. Meanwhile, at home, Elizabeth demands Philip dress up, greasy blonde wig and all.

Stan has his own trouble, when he asks Nia to take a lie detector test, and Oleg issues a difficult ultimatum.
