Justin Hartley has been cast as the lead in new ABC comedy pilot Damaged Goods.
The actor is best known for his role in Smallville and is currently appearing in Revenge.
Damaged Goods will revolve around two 'damaged' men (Hartley and Steve Talley) and two 'damaged' women who explore love and relationships.
Hartley's character Tim is smart and egotistical and is unable to cope when his girlfriend and law firm colleague gets the promotion that he expected, reports Deadline.
Unable to applaud her accomplishments, their relationship looks to be over unless she resigns.
Former Neighbours star Ben Lawson has also been cast in the pilot as Michael, a smart and good-natured dermatologist.
