Netflix series Beef appears to be eyeing up some big names for a second season, including May December's Charles Melton and Road House's Jake Gyllenhaal.
The hit series debuted last year to huge acclaim, following Steven Yeun and Ali Wong's characters Danny and Amy as they're involved in an escalating feud after a road rage incident.
While a second season hasn’t officially been greenlit, it appears that the show will be going down the anthology route should a second run get the go-ahead.

According to Deadline, creator Lee Sung Jin is looking to cast Melton and Pricilla's Cailee Spaeny alongside Gyllenhaal and Oscar winner Anne Hathaway as two feuding couples.
The site adds that scripts for a second season are in the process of being turned in, with a possible late summer or autumn filming start – though no deals are in place at the moment.
Speaking last month, creator Lee hinted that the show could continue as an anthology if Netflix decided to renew it, especially as Danny and Amy's story appeared to hit a conclusion at the end of season one.

"I feel like there are so many paths. It could stay limited – it was a very close-ended story for sure. But if Netflix wanted to continue, it could also be anthology," he said at the Emmys (via Variety).
"It could be many things. It's up to the great algorithm. We're all waiting to hear."
Speaking last year, Lee told The Hollywood Reporter that they "initially pitched the show as an anthology series where every season is a new beef with new characters".
However, he added: "At the same time, I really love Danny and Amy and George and Paul and the world we created. So, I'm really open to it all."
