Daredevil reboot series Born Again has confirmed that Karen and Foggy will be back after all – so fans can breathe a sigh of relief.

The future of Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson's characters in the Marvel franchise seemed uncertain after the upcoming Disney+ series was announced.

However, new filming pictures from the show have revealed the two actors back in character on set alongside Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock.

Karen and Foggy aren’t the only familiar faces from the original Netflix show set to make a comeback, with Wilson Bethel's Benjamin 'Dex' Poindexter/Bullseye also returning, as are Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk and Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle/Punisher.

Born Again recently returned to filming after a break caused by last year's actors and writers' strikes, and in that time the show has received a creative overhaul after the departures of head writers Chris Ord and Matt Corman.

Speaking recently about the changes behind the scenes, D'Onofrio suggested that the show is "doing the right thing".

"During our restart of all the creative on Daredevil: Born Again, all the creatives got together and said: 'Look, this is how we've got to do it now'," he told The Hollywood Reporter.

"So we are for sure only speaking about it in terms of being directly connected to the original Daredevil, and that's a great thing. It brings in a lot of cool stories and all the collateral story that happened in those original three seasons."

Daredevil seasons 1-3 are streaming on Disney+. Daredevil: Born Again is due to premiere in 2024.
