Matt Jackson has broken his silence after it was reported that his wife, Dana Massie, is set to leave AEW.
Massie served as the company's Chief Marketing & Merchandising Officer, a role she has held since AEW's inception in January 2019.
On Saturday (December 23), Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported on X (formerly Twitter) that, as things stand, Massie is "set to finish up with AEW".

While no date was given for her departure, Jackson has confirmed the report by posting a sweet tribute to his wife on his Instagram Stories.
Sharing a black and white photo of Massie holding one of their children, Jackson wrote: "End of an era.
"You were in the first conversations, when this was all only an idea. One of the main builders of our empire. Always positive in at times was a thankless job.
"Glad you got to do it all, and leave on your terms, by your own choices. It’s been fun working with you. See you at dinner."

Jackson, along with his brother Nick, are Executive Vice Presidents in AEW, alongside Kenny Omega. Cody Rhodes also served as an EVP in the company before his departure to WWE.
The Young Bucks are currently on a hiatus from AEW, following their loss to the team of Omega and Chris Jericho at Full Gear. Their YouTube show 'Being the Elite' is also on hiatus.
Massie isn't the only big departure on an executive level at AEW this week. Rafael Morffi, who served as the company's Vice President of Live Events/Touring, is also leaving in order to take a new position at the Barclays Center arena in New York.
