Reese Witherspoon has addressed the theory that her The Morning Show character will be in prison in season four.
The final moments of the news drama’s finale last month saw Bradley quit her job and hand herself in to the FBI, after withholding crucial evidence of her brother Hal assaulting a police officer during the January 6 insurrection.
Although viewers watched Bradley Jackson finally decide to face the consequences of her actions, it is not yet known what those consequences will be, and many have speculated that the character might be sent to prison.
When asked about this theory during a press conference moderated by Deadline, Witherspoon remained tight lipped about whether we’d be seeing Bradley behind bars next season.

"Everyone keeps asking me if Bradley’s in jail, but I don’t know if I’m in trouble," she said.

Witherspoon’s fellow panellists couldn’t resist a joke, however, with executive producer Michael Ellenberg teasing, "But you’ve tried on jumpsuits, right?"
Her co-star Jennifer Aniston joined in too, asking, "Did you decide on a shade of orange?"
Bradley’s continuing dilemma of trying to balance her work life and her family life came to a crescendo last season, and Witherspoon discussed why she has enjoyed playing this story in the Apple TV+ show.

She said: "I think so many people can relate to the idea that you have a family history that maybe isn’t flattering or that you’re embarrassed about, or there’s a family member in your life that’s trying to actively drag you down.
"So, it was just really tender to play this woman who wanted so badly to succeed and excel, being pulled back down by the heavy weight of family obligations and her isolation."
The Morning Show was renewed for a fourth season earlier this year, with an option for a fifth season, so there is plenty more story left to tell over at UBA.
The Morning Show seasons 1-3 are streaming now on Apple TV+.
