Corbett reprised his role as Carrie's ex-boyfriend Aidan Shaw in several episodes of season 2, with the pair rekindling their relationship.
Meanwhile, Cattrall had a very brief cameo as Samantha Jones in the season 2 finale.
Samantha, who is now based in London, rang Carrie to commemorate the sale of her friend's 'single girl' apartment, which has been the writer's home since the very first episode of Sex and the City.

Ahead of her cameo, Cattrall was asked if she would be up for reprising Samantha in future And Just Like That seasons.
"This is as far as I'm going to go," she told Today. "I don't think I'll ever say goodbye to Samantha. She's like a lot of other characters that I've done over the years.
"I get very emotionally attached and protective of my characters. She gave me so much, and I'm so appreciative of her."
