Yellowstone has been plagued with reports that it has been cancelled and now one of its stars has weighed in on the rumours.
Earlier this month, it was reported that series creator Taylor Sheridan plans to end the Kevin Costner-starring series and move some of the cast over to spin-off series 1923.
The situation apparently developed because Costner allegedly wanted to limit himself to just one week of filming for the second half of the fifth season to accommodate his own Western project Horizon.

Wes Bentley, who plays Jamie Dutton in Yellowstone, reckons it's "a bit of drama over nothing" and he thinks it will all be fine.
"The news that's come out recently about the show is, you know, it's above my pay grade. Different people making decisions," Bentley told Entertainment Weekly. "I know that they're still working on… working things out with everyone, to make sure we shoot.
"And I'm confident we will. We always have before. I think it's probably a bit of drama over nothing."
Paramount+ did respond to the cancellation rumours, saying they have "no news" for fans, but stressed that Costner remains involved in the show.
A spokesperson said: "We have no news to report. Kevin Costner is a big part of Yellowstone and we hope that’s the case for a long time to come. Thanks to the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan, we are always working on franchise expansions of this incredible world he has built.
"Matthew McConaughey is a phenomenal talent with whom we’d love to partner."
Cole Hauser, who plays ranch foreman Rip Wheeler on the show, has recently confirmed that seasons six and seven of the western epic are in the works.
"We just finished [season] five and we've got six and seven coming, so we're excited."
Pressed for further information, Hauser would only reiterate: "I can tell you there will be [season] six and [there] will be a seventh, that's all I can say."
