The Grand Tour and Clarkson's Farm are reportedly both set to be cancelled by Prime Video.

A recent Variety article claims that Amazon is "likely to part ways" with Jeremy Clarkson, who created the shows for Amazon's streaming platform. Clarkson presents Clarkson's Farm and co-presents The Grand Tour.

Reportedly, Amazon won't be renewing either of the shows, and both are said to come to an end after their already-commissioned seasons finish.

Clarkson's Farm has yet to air its third season, with season two slated to premiere on February 10. Meanwhile, The Grand Tour has a four-episode special coming up.

Reports come after the recent controversy surrounding Clarkson, which began after he wrote about Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, in his column for The Sun.

On December 19, Clarkson issued a statement on Twitter, saying that he was "horrified to have caused so much hurt" and would be "more careful in future".

The Sun pulled Clarkson's column from its website and released its own statement of apology. "We at The Sun regret the publication of this article and we are sincerely sorry," it reads in part.

On Monday, January 16, Clarkson posted a lengthy apology to his Instagram account. "I really am sorry," he wrote.

Clarkson added that "ITV, who make Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, and Amazon, who make the Farm Show and Grand Tour, were incandescent" over what he'd written.

"I therefore wrote to everyone who works with me saying how sorry I was," he noted.

He then said that, on Christmas morning, he emailed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to apologise to them directly.

Clarkson wrote that he told the Duke and Duchess that "the language I'd used in my column was disgraceful and that I was profoundly sorry".

In response, a spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said that Clarkson "wrote solely" to Prince Harry, before adding: "While a new public apology has been issued today by Mr Clarkson, what remains to be addressed is his long-standing pattern of writing articles that spread hate rhetoric, dangerous conspiracy theories and misogyny."
