Yellowstone's Cole Hauser has confirmed that seasons six and seven of the western epic are in the works.
Hauser plays ranch foreman Rip Wheeler opposite Kevin Costner's John Dutton in the series, and while speaking with Entertainment Tonight at this week's Golden Globe Awards ceremony, the subject of Yellowstone's future cropped up.
"I work in the best office in the world – Montana is it. The writing's unbelievably tailored, the acting is superb we've got a great crew," he began.

"We just finished [season] five and we've got [season] six and [season] seven coming, so we're excited."
Pressed for further information, Hauser would only reiterate: "I can tell you there will be [season] six and [there] will be a seventh, that's all I can say."

Meanwhile, Hauser was also asked to respond to a fan theory forecasting the imminent death of a Dutton.

"I'm not the man to ask," he said. "But listen, you never know. [Creator] Taylor [Sheridan] is one of those kinds of writers where you never know what's coming. I love that about him.
"I think the show's amazing because of it, so we'll see what he comes up with and concocts in the next season to come."
Jamie Dutton himself, Wes Bentley, recently teased that Sheridan (known for writing Sicario and Hell or High Water too) has already figured out how Yellowstone will end.
"He has said to me, he knows how he wants to end it," the actor shared.
"That was a while ago. I'm sure he didn't know how we were going to get there but he knows how."
Yellowstone airs on Paramount+.
