Treason star Charlie Cox has opened up about working with Netflix again after his Daredevil series was cancelled.
Cox stars in the new show as an MI6 operative whose past catches up to him when a Russian spy re-enters his life and he is forced to question everyone and everything around him.
Speaking to Digital Spy, the star said he was "grateful" to be able to return to Netflix and land the role of Adam Lawrence.

"It’s really interesting because it’s a very different team. None of the people that I worked with previously were on this show. And also, with COVID restrictions, there’s not many producers on set in the way that they were in the past," Cox said.
"But I felt very grateful and thankful that Netflix was still willing to hire me. I had a really, really good experience."

Cox said that the process of making the show was a "wonderful" one and he particularly enjoyed getting to spend time in London, where they filmed.

"It was really fun to film in London, back where I grew up. I don’t live in London anymore," he said, "so it was such a thrill to be on amazing sets and locations all over London, and to be back home where I started acting, near my mum and dad who still live here, and stuff like that."
"It was a really wonderful experience, top to bottom, actually."
Cox's Daredevil adventure on Netflix may have been cut short, but he has made a triumphant return to the character within the MCU thanks to cameos in Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk.

Cox also spoke to Digital Spy about She-Hulk, defending the show's 'walk of shame' scene that saw Matt Murdock walking out of the house after he and She-Hulk slept together.
"There's stuff like the walk of shame, where you're like, 'I don't know. This could go two ways. This could be something that the fans really enjoy, and it could be something that feels like it goes against the nature of what they love about the character and the tone of the piece'," Cox said.
"The good thing about doing it on something like She-Hulk is, it's not Daredevil's show. It was my job as the actor to come onto another person's show and embrace the tone, whilst staying as true to the character as I possibly could."
Cox will return as Daredevil in the upcoming 18-episode Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again.
Daredevil seasons 1-3 are streaming on Disney+. Daredevil: Born Again is due to premiere in 2024.
