The Haunting of Hill House and Bly Manor duo Mike Flanagan and Trevor Macy are set to leave Netflix and head over to another streamer.
The pair have signed an overall deal with Amazon Studios, in which they'll create and produce new projects though their Intrepid Pictures company (via Deadline).
"Amazon is a studio that we have long admired. Their commitment to engaging in groundbreaking series and content aligns with the ethos of what we have built at Intrepid," the pair said in a statement.
"We are looking forward to working with the entire Amazon team as we bring our brand of genre productions to the service and audiences around the globe."

Flanagan and Macy are also behind the Netflix shows Midnight Mass and The Midnight Club, and they have at least one more project coming out on the streaming platform – an adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's 1839 short story The Fall of the House of Usher.

Flanagan will write the limited series and direct half of the episodes, while Michael Fimognari will direct the other half.
Meanwhile, The Midnight Club has been cancelled after one season. The series marked Flanagan and Macy’s first foray into YA and was made with the intent of having multiple seasons.
"This was designed to be ongoing," Flanagan said at a press conference in October. "I don’t know if it will. We’ll see how it goes and we probably won’t know for another month or so what Netflix wants to do. But it was very much designed to continue."
The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor are streaming on Netflix now.
