Ozark's Veronica Falcón has left HBO drama More, with Ana Ortiz stepping in to replace her.

Best known for playing Isabel Salazar in Love, Victor and Hilda Suarez in Ugly Betty, Ortiz is reportedly finalising a deal to lead the pilot after creator Amy Chozick, Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television felt alterations were needed following a table read (via Deadline).

Christian Serratos of The Walking Dead is also attached to star.

Penned by journalist Chozick, and inspired by her own reporting, More centres on the Lorenz clan, a tight-knit family unit of seemingly flawless Latinas, including matriarch Leona (Ortiz).

"The Lorenzes are the Vanderbilts or the Astors of the Instagram era. Drawing some parallels to the Kardashians and their 'momager' Kris Jenner, the Lorenzes pulled their way up from debt and obscurity to reality TV stardom and forged a billion-dollar mega-conglomerate not from oil or steel but from something more elusive and modern: influence," teased a description.

As a single mum, Leona used her "formidable, self-taught" business acumen to claw her way to the higher echelons and thus set out a billion-dollar media empire for her four daughters (played by Serratos, Stargirl's Yvette Monreal, WeCrashed's Ceci Fernandez and CSI's Georgie Flores).

The central question of the series will be, can she acquire fame and power without losing her daughters?
