Heartstopper star Joe Locke has been cast in the WandaVision spinoff series Agatha: Coven of Chaos, according to Variety.
Focussing on Kathryn Hahn's Agatha Harkness from the original series, Agatha: Coven of Chaos is set for a winter 2023 release on Disney+.
Details of the Heartstopper actor's role in the Marvel Studios series are being kept under wraps, but if we were to speculate, it seems likely that he might have been cast as Wanda's son Wiccan, a gay superhero in the comics.

It's unclear where or when the MCU series will take place and specific plot details are currently unavailable, but we do know that WandaVision creator and showrunner Jac Schaeffer is set to return to write and executive produce the spinoff.
Locke is best known for his role as gay teenager Charlie Spring, who falls in love with his classmate Nick Nelson (Kit Connor) in the Netflix series Heartstopper.

The titular villain Agatha Harkness was last seen in WandaVision where she attempted to steal Wanda Maximoff's chaos magic but was ultimately defeated by her rival. At the end of the series, Wanda trapped Harkness in the Agnes persona she had used to hide in Westview so it is likely the new series will follow her exploits post-WandaVision.
In the comics, Agatha is featured as one of the original witches from the Salem witch trials so there's potential for some flashbacks to Salem in the 1600s. Of course, this would not be a new feature as fans will remember a Salem flashback from WandaVision where Agatha's own mother tried to execute her for using dark magic.
WandaVision season 1 is streaming on Disney+.
