The White Lotus fans have reacted to the season two premiere of the hit HBO show, which includes a nude scene featuring Theo James.
Mike White's The White Lotus has returned for a second season after a successful first outing. The show has switched up Maui for Sicily and introduces a host of new characters for season two, with James joining as Cameron Babcock.
In the season's opening episode, Babcock follows Aubrey Plaza's Harper Spiller to her hotel room so he can borrow a pair of swim shorts from her husband. He then openly strips down and changes in front of Spiller as he dons the shorts. Spiller catches a glimpse of Babcock in the mirror when she is fetching suncream.

And fans have now reacted to the nude scene, with one writing: "I was not prepared to see Theo James' penis today but I’m not mad."
Meanwhile, another fan wrote: "I thought I had seen the most naked Theo James in The Time Traveler’s Wife but that scene in The White Lotus, oh help me, God!"
Fans also, however, wanted to remind viewers that while James' nude scene will undoubtedly receive a lot of attention, he should also be remembered for his skills as an actor.
One fan wrote: "Many Tweeters are excited over the buzz about Theo James, nudity and #thewhitelotus. It is true, Theo is a lovely man, beautiful even. But he is also a decent, respectful family man. When you watch him today, give him credit for his acting skills. He is an incredible actor."
James himself recently talked about the scene in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, where he joked: "It is in my contract that I'm not allowed to do anything without being completely naked. It's funny because we're all kind of naked. It's a holiday show, really."
"We don't know whether it's deliberate or it's accidental. But it reveals itself."

He added: "The initial version we shot was way too much. So, we did a more subtle version."
The White Lotus enjoyed a successful first season, winning 10 Emmys including outstanding limited or anthology series and outstanding supporting actress in a limited series/anthology series/movie for Jennifer Coolidge.
The White Lotus season 2 will premiere on HBO Max in the US on October 30. A UK date is yet to be announced. Season one airs on HBO Max or HBO Go in the US, while viewers in the UK can watch it on Sky Atlantic, Sky Go and Now TV.
