Jack Ryan, Prime Video's political thriller, has released a first trailer for season 3.
Charged with scintillating action and real-world concerns, the footage finds John Krasinski's titular CIA financial analyst gone AWOL, with his superior James Greer (played by Wendell Pierce) warning him: "Every day you're on the run, you're digging a hole that you may not be able to get out of..."

These militants want to detonate a nuclear strike "to create chaos", with their weapon having already been built and moved into position.

Alongside Cosmo, Jack Ryan season 3 welcomes Michael Peña (Secret Headquarters) as Ding Chavez, Betty Gabriel (Get Out) as Elizabeth Wright, Peter Guinness (Chernobyl) as Petr and Nina Hoss (Homeland) as Alena.

Earlier this year, it was announced that the in-production fourth season would be Jack Ryan's last, but there's some good news to fall back on.
A spin-off centred on Peña's newcomer is currently in development, although no scripts have been completed yet.
Jack Ryan seasons 1-2 are streaming now on Prime Video, with the third set for release on December 21.
