Daredevil star Charlie Cox has hinted that the new Disney+ reboot could redo storylines from the original Netflix series.
Following the Netflix show's cancellation in 2018, Marvel boss Kevin Feige announced the new Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again starring Cox at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year.
Cox is set to reprise his role as Matt Murdock aka Daredevil, the blind vigilante, for 18 episodes which will premiere in spring 2024.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Cox opened up about the reboot where he revealed they may redo stories from the Netflix series.
"In a way, what's great about that is that we potentially get to tell some of the stories over and over again in the same way that they do in the comics, you know," Cox explained.

"Every now and again, they start back at the beginning of Murdock's journey as a little boy and they tell the whole origin story again. So maybe we'll get to do that, I don't know," he added.

According to the star, Daredevil: Born Again will not pick up where the Netflix show left off, but will instead start from the beginning as a new series, a decision that Kevin Feige was clear on.
"Kevin has been clear about it being a season 1 not a season 4, you know so it's a whole new deal.
"It's a bizarre experience to have played this character, to have the experiences I've had with this character, and the journey that we've been on with the show," he said of reprising the role.
"For that to be finished and ended, and in my mind and heart it's over, and then to be yanked back in and suddenly we're starting again and it's all happening again it feels like a dream."
Daredevil seasons 1-3 are streaming on Disney+. Daredevil: Born Again is due to premiere in 2024.
