Supernatural star Jensen Ackles wants to bring back some of his old co-stars for his new spin-off show The Winchesters.
The prequel series, set in the 1970s, will tell the love story of John Winchester (Drake Rodger) and Mary Campbell (Meg Donnelly).
In a new interview with EW, Jensen and fellow executive producer Danneel Ackles said that they would absolutely love to bring some Supernatural stars to the spin-off show and are actively trying to work out how to do this.

"If there is any opportunity to bring anybody back from the mothership, we will absolutely do so. We will write to that. We have names that are on the table of like, 'How can we get to this [person in a way] that makes sense?'" Jensen said.
"I think the fans will be cool if we bring an actor that played a certain famous character on the show to come and do something different.

"We were recycling guest stars by the dozens after season 8 because Vancouver's only so big and there's only so many people in the talent pool. I think if we do that with fan-favourite actors that played fan-favourite characters, I feel like we're safe there."
Danneel added: "Why else do you make a show if you can't work with your friends? If that is at all possible, it's happening."
Jensen will also be narrating the series as his character Dean Winchester.
Meg Donnelly, who plays Dean's mother Mary in the prequel, previously said that the set benefitted from Jensen's presence.
"He was on set every single day of the pilot, just like being super collaborative, giving us notes, telling us about the universe that we might not know about," she recalled. "So it was really good insight."
The Winchesters will premiere on October 11 on The CW.
