WandaVision's Randall Park and Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Melissa Fumero have teamed up for a brand new Netflix workplace comedy series, Blockbuster, which has just released its first trailer.
The famous video rental chain stores were once a staple in most towns and over the years with the rise of streaming (the irony, Netflix) there has been little need for them, however, there is still one left open in Oregon today.
The 10-episode series is set in a Blockbuster store and it follows the staff who work there, including a movie-loving manager Timmy Yoon (Park).
When he discovers the store's days are numbered, he and the staff do all they can to bring their community together and fight to keep their store open. It sees his former employee – and long-time crush – Eliza (Fumero) return to work for him after separating from her husband as well.
Other stars making up the ensemble cast include American Vandal's Tyler Alvarez, To All the Boys' Madeleine Arthur, Star Falls' Kamaia Fairburn, In the Heights' Olga Merediz, and Curb Your Enthusiasm's JB Smoove.
Park played Jimmy Woo in Wandavision, reprising his role from Ant-Man and the Wasp. He is also set to appear in the third film, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Blockbuster reunites her with Vanessa Ramos, the show's creator, who also worked on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, as well as Merediz, who played Julia Diaz on the police comedy sitcom.
She's also going to be teaming up with her former Brooklyn Nine-Nine co-star Andy Samburg for the animated series Digman!, which is set to air in early 2023 on Comedy Central.
Blockbuster will premiere on Netflix on 3 November 2022.
