Better Call Saul spoilers follow.

Better Call Saul's Bob Odenkirk has revealed whether Breaking Bad stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul will return as Walter White and Jesse Pinkman in the show's final two episodes.

Monday's episode (August 1) was the crossover we've all been been eagerly waiting for ever since it was announced that the two characters would make an appearance in the spin-off, which follows Odenkirk's Jimmy McGill before he became known as Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad.

But Odenkirk has now confirmed that it won't be the last we're seeing of Walter and Jesse – there's more to come.

"And the scenes that come up are powerful," he added. "I love that everybody thinks they're going to show up [once], then they see them, they go, 'We saw them again!' I'm like, 'You never know what's going to come next time.'

"Don't be so sure you've seen the last [of them].' I'm telling you, you haven't."

Following the epic event, Better Call Saul executive producer Tom Schnauz opened up about how the crossover had been planned as far back as season one.

"We talked since season 1 about, 'When do we bring back Walt and Jesse? Do we bring back Walt and Jesse?'" he said.

"And now that Gene in Omaha is slipping back into his old ways, now felt like the right time to show the Saul Goodman character and the decisions he made chasing Walter White, the same way he made decisions to do these crazy Omaha scams."

Better Call Saul airs on AMC in the US and on Netflix in the UK.
