New Paramount series, Let the Right One In, has premiered its first-look trailer, showing off an impressive cast.

Nick Stahl (Fear the Walking Dead) and Grace Gummer (Mr Robot), star in the new 10-part vampire series, led by Oscar nominee Demián Bichir (Godzilla vs Kong).

Inspired by the 2004 Swedish novel by John Ajvide Lindqvist, it has since been adapted a few times, most notably by The Batman director Matt Reeves, who cast Chloë Grace Moretz in the lead role in Let Me In.

The new series adaptation follows dad Mark (Bichir) and his daughter Eleanor (Madison Taylor Baez, Selena: The Series), whose lives were changed 10 years earlier when she was turned into a vampire.

Locked in at age 12, perhaps forever, Eleanor lives a closed-in life, able to go out only at night, while her father does his best to provide her with the human blood she needs to stay alive.

Anika Noni Rose (Power), Kevin Carroll (Snowfall), Ian Foreman  and Jacob Buster  also co-star in the series.

The series has been executive produced by Penny Dreadful's Andrew Hinderaker and Homeland's Seith Mann.

Stahl reprised his role as weapons officer Riley in Fear the Walking Dead spin-off, Dead in the Water: A Fear the Walking Dead Story, earlier this year.

The spin-off series was set aboard the USS Pennsylvania on the night before the nuclear zombie apocalypse and took fans back to where it all began, where Riley has recently become a father who is forced to fight for survival as the apocalypse starts.

Let The Right One In will debut on Showtime in the US on 7 October and in the UK on Paramount+ on 8 October

Fear the Walking Dead airs on AMC in the US, and AMC on BT TV in the UK.
