Cristin Milioti and William Jackson Harper are the stars of new mystery comedy The Resort, in which they play a couple on the rocks – though not for the first time.
The How I Met Your Mother star and the Good Place alum have previously portrayed "a couple in distress" in Zoe Kazan's 2017 dystopian play After The Blast.
In The Resort, their characters reluctantly go on a 10th anniversary holiday, but find more than they bargained for when they become entangled in a mystery dating back 15 years prior.

"Cristin and I have worked together before, and we do have this kind of shorthand," Harper told Digital Spy in an exclusive chat.
"I think Cristin is just brilliant and interesting and centred and organic in everything she does and so I think that really, it's more just sort of... when you're working with a person that is as talented as Cristin is, it just sort of makes you lock in and be real and be focused, because what you're getting is just so, so interesting and specific."
Milioti, who gave proof of her talent for dark comedy in Made for Love and time-loop rom-com Palm Springs, echoed her co-star's feelings of mutual trust and respect.

"I feel so similarly about Will. I think because we had this experience too," she said.
"I mean, I think I would feel that way regardless of that experience, but it certainly helped that I trust him. Full stop. Implicitly.
"I trust him as a human, I trust him as a scene partner, and so I feel like I can just follow him to the different ends of the Earth and I also would get sort of wrapped up in what he was doing all the time."
Created by Palm Springs writer Andy Siara and exec produced by Mr Robot's Sam Esmail, The Resort also features Booksmart star Skyler Gisondo as Sam Knowlston, a guy who vanished into thin air while vacationing at the same resort in 2007.
The Resort airs weekly on Peacock, exclusively on Sky and NOW.
