The White Lotus has confirmed the return of another character from season 1 as the HBO drama prepares to move to southern Italy for its second season.
New episodes of the hit series will follow a new group of people at another White Lotus property in Italy, and while fans were already aware that Jennifer Coolidge's socialite character Tanya McQuoid would be returning, a new look at season 2 has confirmed that she won't be alone.
HBO Max's upcoming slate trailer, which you can watch above, has revealed that Tanya will be joined by her beau Greg, marking the return of Jon Gries.
In the clip, Tanya and Greg, who originally bonded in Hawaii in season 1, are living their best Italian fantasy: riding a Vespa along a scenic route while donning the chicest outfits.

Created by School of Rock writer and star Mike White, the satirical dramedy focusing on the guests of an exclusive resort in Hawaii was originally billed as a limited series. Following its success, it was renewed as an anthology series, moving the action to another White Lotus property in Sicily.

Filmed in Taormina, this second instalment will have as brilliant an ensemble cast as the first chapter, whose stars included Murray Bartlett as resort manager Armond, as well as Steve Zahn, Connie Britton, Sydney Sweeney and Jack Lacy as some of the vacationers.
Alongside Coolidge and Gries, The White Lotus season 2 will also feature Parks and Rec's Aubrey Plaza and The Grand Budapest Hotel and Moon Knight star F Murray Abraham.
Rounding out the cast are Will Sharpe (Sherlock), Theo James (Divergent), Meghann Fahy (The Bold Type), Tom Hollander, and Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos).

Not much is known plot-wise, but if the new chapter is anything like season one — which addressed issues like colonialism and social inequality — viewers are in for quite the uncomfortable but necessary ride.
"I do think people will like [season 2], based on the scenes that I've witnessed of other people," Coolidge shared last month.
"I think people are really going to be riveted."
A release date for The White Lotus season 2 has not been announced. Season one airs on HBO Max or HBO Go in the US, while viewers in the UK can watch it on Sky Atlantic, Sky Go and Now TV.
