American Horror Story star Emma Roberts has addressed whether she would return to Scream Queens again.

In a conversation with ComicBook.com, Roberts revealed she would absolutely love to revisit the show, should they make another season.

"I mean, look, I want a Scream Queens season 3 and I think now's the time," she said. "I don't actually know who's in charge of the 'yes' or 'no' to that, but yes, we should make that happen.

"I'm so happy that people still love it so much. Honestly, we had so much fun making it and the fact that I still see girls and guys dressing up as Chanel Oberlin for Halloween, it warms my heart. So I would love it, I would be so down."

Scream Queens is a horror-comedy show created by Ryan Murphy that ran for two seasons before getting cancelled in 2017. Roberts starred as Chanel Oberlin for both of those seasons.

What to Read Next

Murphy has echoed Roberts' sentiments multiple times on a potential third season,
including back in 2019.

"So many people recently have been asking me about rebooting or continuing SCREAM QUEENS (RIP, taken too soon)," he wrote three years ago.

"Emma, Billie [Lourd], Lea [Michele] and I have mused on it, but question: should it be a six-episode limited? A catch-up movie? Who should I bring back? Would love your thoughts. So many questions."

Murphy went on to say to Deadline later in 2019: "I would have to say that the answer to that lies in the studio who made it.

"Obviously I work for Netflix now, but if I could do anything to bring it back – Emma said she would do it, Lea Michele said she would do it, Jamie Lee Curtis, Abigail Breslin, Billie Lourd are all in.

"So it would depend if Fox wants to do it. I think we'd all do it. I think we're waiting for them to call us."

In the meantime, Roberts continues her reign in the horror genre. Having also starred in Scream 4 and multiple seasons of American Horror Story, she currently features in Abandoned. Joining her in the cast are Knives Out's Michael Shannon, John Gallagher Jr, and Paul Schneider.

Abandoned releases in US cinemas on June 17 and on streaming services on June 24. A UK release date is yet to be announced.
