Law & Order: SVU has announced a major shakeup for season 24 with a new showrunner set to come on board.
David Graziano, best known as co-creator of CBS series Coyote, will be replacing Warren Leight who spent eight years on the show in total.
He is not the only new showrunner in the Law & Order universe, with Bryan Goluboff taking the reins over on Law & Order: Organized Crime.

In an Instagram photo announcing the news, Graziano simply captioned it: "Just going to leave this here" with a smiley face.
Leight, who came on board for seasons 13 to 17 and 21 to 23, announced his departure in a lengthy Twitter thread at the beginning of May.
He wrote: "The final day of shooting is always bittersweet. Today was a little more than that. As some of you have already figured out, I am stepping down at the end of #SVU23. The last two years of show running during a pandemic have been arduous, and I've decided to take a break."

Leight also opened up about the challenges of filming during COVID. "At least once a week this year a brick came thru the window. This person quarantined, that location lost, another show fell behind and our guest star was no longer available.
"Each time casting, camera, design, wardrobe, locations, h/mu, props, drivers came up with a save. And when they didn't, our editing room, led by the indefatigable genius, Arthur Forney did. Somehow the obstacles pulled us all closer together. The episodes stayed on track and seemed to get stronger the longer the season went on."
Law & Order: SVU airs Thursdays on NBC in the US. The show airs on Sky Witness in the UK, with select episodes available on NOW.
