The CW isn't wasting any time in getting The Winchesters and Walker: Independence out into the world.
Prequels to the long-running US fantasy series Supernatural and gunslinging reboot Walker, these two titles have now unveiled their first trailers ahead of autumn air dates.
It's only been less than a week since official word came of full-season orders.

The first glimpse of The Winchesters opens on Dean Winchester (reprised by the main man himself Jensen Ackles) scribbling into a notepad.
"The Winchester story... it's always been a mystery," he narrates. "I need to uncover the truth about my parents. Was it the hunt for evil that drew them together or was it something more?
"To get to the truth, the real story means going way back to 1972, the day dad came home from the war and the night he met mum."
Cue fisticuffs with demons as the younger John and Mary Winchester learn the ropes.

Meanwhile, Walker: Independence could be Katherine McNamara's proper coming out party as an actress, chewing the sun-blasted scenery in the role of protagonist Abigail Walker, whose husband is killed in front of her eyes by bandits of the night.
In the preview itself, we see her playing dead at the scene before being rescued and starting a new life in the town of Independence.
"People here... they're all running from something," she's informed, but a run-in with the local sheriff spells trouble for her future there.
Is he hiding something, and will Abigail be forced to bring him to justice?
