9-1-1: Lone Star spoilers follow.
9-1-1: Lone Star fan favourite couple TK (Ronen Rubinstein) and Carlos (Rafael L Silva) – aka Tarlos – faced quite a traumatic ordeal in the show's latest episode.
During last night's (April 11) 'Riddle of the Sphynx', TK tries to ensure his sobriety by committing to 90 days of AA meetings following his and Carlos' drugging ordeal by Sadie (Julie Benz).
However, TK's grief over his mother's death resurfaces due to his traumatic experience, and he grows close to a new AA sponsor called Cooper (Josh Plasse) – though it is made clear that their relationship is more platonic.
Despite the ordeal and the challenges it presents for Tarlos, the couple end the episode in a strong position, Silva suggesting that their love will help them get through it together going forward.
"At the end of the episode, it's a clear indication that this love is strong and this love is here to stick," he told Entertainment Weekly. "So, I think we're going to be seeing more of that strength.

"And if there are ups and downs, they're going to go through it together. And if they go through more ups and downs, I can only hope that they'll find their way back to each other – and I think we can look forward to that."
Rubinstein also noted the episode's final scene where Carlos calls Cooper, who TK is increasingly leaning on for support.
"It's Carlos making his sweet gesture of personally calling Cooper and being like, 'Listen, my partner needs you, and I'm going to put my BS away and just be here for TK'," he explained.
"He sees that TK is struggling with a lot of things, and I think that he sees Cooper actually help him. If there's one thing about Carlos, is that he's a super, super generous, and kind and loyal partner.

"At the end of that scene, I grab his hand and I say, 'Thank you, I love you'. And he just looks at me and he says, 'I know'. I think there's a lot of weight to that. He knows how I feel about him. I know how he feels about me.
"He made an incredible gesture, and I think that's just the beauty of the relationship. I think at the end of the day, everything always works out, thank God. I only expect good things for them.
"But then again, you never know, dude. You never know with this show."
