Only Murders in the Building will be back for a second season as early as this summer in the US.
The next chapter of the comedic murder mystery will premiere on June 28 — which comes less than a year after streamer Hulu released its season one finale.
In a pre-recorded promo shared by the show's social media handle, the main trio can be seen in an elevator attempting to make the date announcement.

The video begins with Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short, who introduce themselves before Martin tells fans: "You're probably wondering when season two of Only Murders in the Building is going to hit the airwaves..."
Short then interjects: "I was wondering that too," while Gomez says: "I forgot what I was going to say."

Leaving fans with an anti-climatic announcement, they conclude one-by-one: "Comes out... exactly on... oh, were out of time!" before the elevator door closes to reveal the premiere date.

Season one of OMITB follows Mabel (Gomez), Charles-Haden (Martin) and Oliver (Short) as they come together to solve a murder and log their investigation on a true crime podcast.
When season two was announced in September last year, series co-creator and executive producer John Hoffman told Variety: "Everyone in our amazing 'Building' worked with such love and expertise through extraordinary times – and with incredible support from Disney, Hulu and 20th TV – to create a first season that might live up to our legendary cast, our beloved New York City, and to make a show about connection.
"To feel we've connected with our audience and hit the mark enough already to have the chance to continue – and to carry on our show's wild ride of mystery-comedy-empathy – is too exciting for words. So I'll shut up now – and just say a huge thanks to all and I can't wait for more!"
Production for season two began in December, 2021.
Only Murders in the Building season one is available now on Disney+ in the UK and Hulu in the US.
