Succession's Brian Cox will be joined by acclaimed actors Edie Falco, Lisa Kudrow and Dean Norris in the new HBO Max poltergeist comedy, The Parenting.
Cox and Falco are set to play one couple, while Kudrow and Norris form the other in a family meeting that goes terribly wrong.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show's premise focuses on young couple Graham and Josh, who host a meeting of their parents in a rental house in the country. But things soon take a terrifying, and comedic, detour as they discover a 400-year-old ghost is haunting the house.

Brian Cox is perhaps best known for playing Logan Roy in HBO's Succession, which earned him Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards. He's also appeared in Braveheart, Churchill and Good Omens.
Edie Falco starred in The Sopranos and Nurse Jackie, winning her an Emmy for Best Actress in both drama and comedy for her roles. More recently, she has appeared in Impeachment: American Crime Story, Law & Order True Crime and Tommy, whilst she is also set to appear in the upcoming Avatar films.
Lisa Kudrow may be synonymous with being Phoebe Buffay in the classic sitcom Friends, but she has recently starred as a voice actor in The Boss Baby: Family Business and is due to appear in Better Nate Than Ever on Disney+.

Dean Norris found international fame for playing DEA Hank Schrader in Breaking Bad and again in prequel Better Call Saul. He has also appeared in Little Miss Sunshine, Claws and can currently be seen in the United States of Al.
The Parenting will be written by Kent Sublette and directed by Craig Johnson. A release date is yet to be announced.
