Boba Fett's Temuera Morrison teases big Star Wars surprise in season 1 finale

The Book of Boba Fett will serve up a delicious Star Wars surprise in the debut season's grand finale.

How do we know? Leading actor Temuera Morrison himself recently teased as much in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, commenting: "The Book of Boba 'full of surprises' series. Yeah, we've got some good stuff coming up.

"Ooh, wait till episode seven, wow!"

Whether or not this outshines The Mandalorian's Luke Skywalker cameo is yet to be seen, but either way, fans will now be chomping at the bit to clasp eyes on that closing chapter.

Morrison also went on to reflect how his introduction to series creator Jon Favreau over a decade ago laid the foundations for his return as Boba.

"Sometimes, life is about relationships, and while I didn't get to do much on [2009 rom-com] Couples Retreat, I got to meet [co-writer/actor] Jon. And at that time, he was prepping to direct Iron Man.

"So he obviously sat around a table where they said, 'Well, Boba's got to look like Jango [Fett], so let's see what Tem is doing.' So I had this wonderful opportunity to get back on this journey, this vessel, this walker, and it's been exciting and thrilling," he said.

In between his experience playing Briggs in Couple's Retreat and that stunning Star Wars resurgence in season 2 of The Mandalorian, Morrison racked up credits in Green Lantern, Moana, Dora and the Lost City of Gold and billion dollar Worlds of DC epic Aquaman. Pretty impressive!
