Everything is getting rebooted or revived nowadays, especially hit American dramas from the late 1990s or 2000s, so it's almost inevitable that someone will announce a new One Tree Hill series.

The aforementioned Burton recently spoke out about the original show's treatment of female sexuality, stating: "It's gross to me that there were no women in positions of power there. No one we could turn to to advocate for us."
