The full synopsis reads: "When the son of a prominent American businesswoman (Thurman) is kidnapped from a New York hotel, the eye of suspicion quickly falls on four seemingly ordinary British citizens who were at the hotel on the night in question.

"As they find themselves in a trans-Atlantic cat and mouse race to evade the combined forces of the National Crime Agency and the FBI to prove their innocence, it becomes apparent that not everyone can be trusted.

The series is based on the Israeli show False Flag, with The Man in the High Castle's Rob Williams serving as showrunner and executive producer.

Since wrapping his turn as Raj Koothrappali in The Big Bang Theory, Nayyar has starred in the likes of Netflix's Criminal: UK, playing the role of a calculating killer that marked a big departure from the comedy series.

Thurman, meanwhile, is well known for appearing in Pulp Fiction and the Kill Bill series of movies.

Suspicion will premiere on Apple TV+ from Friday, February 4, 2022 with two episodes. New episodes will be streaming every Friday afterwards.
