The Good Place star Kristen Bell is set to return to Netflix in new series The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window, and the streaming platform has just unveiled the first teaser for it.
Described as a dark comedy thriller, the show follows heartbroken Anna (Bell), who spends every evening staring out of her front room window and necking a glass – or two – of wine.
As she watches life go on without her, she wonders whether anything will ever excite her again.

When a handsome guy named Neil (Tom Riley) and his adorable daughter move in across the street, Anna starts to see a light at the end of the tunnel... until she witnesses a gruesome murder. But did she really see what she thought she saw?
Created by Nobodies' Rachel Ramras, Hugh Davidson and Larry Dorf, the outing – which releases on January 28, 2022 – also stars Christina Anthony, Samsara Yett, Benjamin Levy, Michael Ealy (Westworld), Cameron Britton (The Umbrella Academy) Shelley Hennig (Teen Wolf) and Happiest Season's Mary Holland.

"Crazy," Anna replies, before he quizzes her on her drinking. "It's going great. I'm really cutting back," she assures him, as a montage of her pouring multiple generously-sized beverages and slurping them before they spill over the rim plays out.
"And the pills? You know not to combine them with alcohol, right? I'm serious, Anna, that could contribute to the hallucinations," he adds. Guess we'll see whether they're visions, or real-life happenings next month...
